Emmanuel ISHIMWE
AssociateEmmanuel ISHIMWE is an Associate at CREST LAW with a strong foundation in corporate transactions, alternative dispute resolution, and the rapidly evolving field of financial technology law. He completed his LLB (Hons) from the University of Rwanda in 2022 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from ILPD.
Emmanuel began his legal career as a Fellow-Trainee at Certa Law Chambers in January 2022, developing expertise in commercial drafting and transactional support. He advanced to Junior Associate at FKadvocates in January 2023, where he honed his litigation and ADR skills before joining Crest Law. He also holds a Certificate in Legal Aid Provision Standards (LAPS) obtained with Initiatives for Peace and Human Rights (I Peace) in 2020, reflecting his commitment to access to justice.
Emmanuel brings a keen analytical mind and a particular interest in how technology and law intersect in Rwanda's growing Fintech sector. He is multilingual, operating fluently in Kinyarwanda, English, French, and Kiswahili.
